To the left is me with lots of light and flash in my face. On the right, there’s a lot less light happening. Sometimes, lighting washes your color out. 

Oh, and, dark skinned girls like myself look damn good in red lipstick (I heard someone swear up and down the opposite was true. Had to rebuke it).
